Eastern Christian School offers many opportunities for students to be involved in academic competition, student government, robotics, drama, athletics, and the visual arts.
We offer a broad selection of courses in the visual arts including ceramics, painting, drawing, printing and design, graphic design, and sculpture.
Student Government is strong and students have opportunities to serve on Class Council, Student Senate and the Student Advisory Group.
Other opportunities, such as the Math Club, robotics, and world language clubs, offer students the chance to pursue academic interests outside of school hours.
Eastern Christian offers a vibrant International Student Life program. We believe that the presence of international students enhances the school community for everyone. All international student life activities include American student ambassadors who have applied and been chosen to participate with international students. This program is intentional in its efforts to provide a rich social and cultural education for all students. Eastern Christian is extremely close to NYC (only 12 miles) which provides students the opportunity to experience city-life and culture.
Events include culture Week, gym night with basketball, badminton, volleyball, and jump-rope, bowling, New York City trips, ice skating, Six Flags amusement park, KoreaTown trip, ChinaTown trip, Lunar New Year celebration.
We encourage American and International students to attend our school-sponsored service trips over school breaks so they can learn how to become active members of society and acquire life skills of leadership, communication, teamwork and service.
